#3 Holiday Experience — Birthday Celebration (:

My mum had a free stay at Marina Bay Sands and as she's my awesome mother , she offered me if I wanted to invite my friends over for early birthday celebration and whatsoever. Of course I did ! (: so ... I invited

I invited more but some couldn't make it :'( 

Oh ! Yah an incident happened maybe like 3/2 weeks before my birthday celebration when someone whatsapped me and invited HERSELF to my birthday celebration . Okay ... It's not like it's mine cuz i was celebrating together with my friend Sharlize (: she has the same birthday and Chinese name as me ...

She was sharlize's friend and she had my number anyways . So she said QUOTE : 

" i hope you could save a spot for me? (i mean, who doesn't want to invite me). i might come back in time for sharlize's birthday, but i'm not sure. " 

Yup , that was my reaction . Ummm like what . 

I mean no offence but ...

I totally understand why you want to come for the birthday party but NO ONE invite themselves for others birthday party . I mean like .-. #nooffence #seriously 

Yah . 

Anyways .... I rejected her and told her that if she wants to come , I can't stop her anyway , afterall it's her own legs and if she wants to come , I can't stop her . I'm just not going to let her join the party cuz it'll be so awkward #justsaying 

Yah . And she didn't replied me . 

I take it she's angry with me (duh) 

Okay , back to topic .... So the 21st was actually quite fun although I must admit it was awkward in the beginning and a little boring when we had nothing to do anymore . We played running man , where I freaked out and probably was the first one to be eliminated ... But before that me and sharlize were just using our phone ...

But in the end they watched the ending while screamming : RUN , DON'T LEAVE , SHE LOVES YOU !

BTW ,  Did you know if you order macs in Marina Bay Sands it cost $60 more 0.0 . Becuase it's the "golden zone" 0.0 it's damn ridiculous . 

I ended up being the first to sleep ... Cuz I asked sharlize to play some songs to let us sleep on youtube and it actually worked (: for me at least 😂 ... 

(NEXT DAY) 

The next day in the MRT (: was going to city hall to treat them lunch ...  btw that's a fake smile . I was so tired :P I couldn't smile :P . 

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO CAME TO CELEBRATE MY BIRTHDAY I LOVE YOUUUU . Oh and everyone's presents were amazing (: love them 💕

#2 Holiday Experience — Sec 3 Streaming Results

Sec 3 Streaming Results , Studies #realitycheck 

So ! Let's just get straight into the point (: 

Next year in 2016 , I will be in secondary 3 . Sigh :/ it's going to be stressful as shit . I actually got all the subject combination choices and I just had to pick my top 6 choices . 

Anyways , cut to the chase , I got my first choice (: 

English

Chinese 

E Math 

A Math 

Pure Chemistry 

Pure Physics 

Art 

Combined Humanities (e lit + ss) 

In total , that is 8 subjects which is the maximum in my school . 

I was really happy when I got my first choice and when I also found out that I was in the same class as almost all of my close friends . Satwant , Xin ran , Sarah etc . Do you want some pics ?? Yah I think I do (:

However , next year , the class I'm in is actually considered as "the smart class" 

That means , ALL the smart people are studying in that class . From what I heard (rumours and such) is that the school assigns the better teacher to the other classes and give the not so good teacher to the "smarty class" I don't know ... I just heard from rumours that that's what happens in my school . I'm a little worries for myself as well , afterall , if you're studying with all the smarty pants , you're going to be under a lot of pressure 😒 

Honestly speaking , I really don't like to be classified under the "smart ones" . Why ? Well ... It's a lot of stress . And everyone only remembers the bad things about you . Their standard is so high for you , sometimes when you don't reach it , you get judged for it . I remembered last time when I got 2nd in class in sec 2 , I was so worried that if the next time I get 5th or 4th , I'm going to be judged for the rest of my life in school . :/ 

Thinking about that , I shouldn't be worrying about that . But although almost everyone says that they don't care about what others say about them , they actually do . I mean , that's what I believe . I believe that to a certain extent , everyone cares what others say about them . But you just have to #shakeitoff 

(sorry , Taylor Swift is just awesome , not sorry) :P 

I'm stopping here cuz I don't know what's the point of this post :P lol . Ummmmm so what I'm saying is ... Oh ya ! I'm just telling you my subject combination and how I feel about next year . Yah ! 

If next year you're in sec 3 as well ... I think that we all should have fun and study at the same time (:

Holidays Overview & #1 Holiday Experience — 2nd Wind Youth Band Festival 2014

So ! Hey guys (: 

Honestly , I don't think any of you are reading it hahaha I'm just writing so I can feel better :P

So , it's been school holidays since November and let me just see what I accomplish during this "almost 2 months" ... 

1. 2nd Wind Youth Band Festival 2014

Take note they're not in chronological order just becuase I'm lazy and yah :P 

Lemme talk about one of the biggest things that happened in the hols . LETS START WITH ... 

2nd Wind Youth Band Festival 2014 

If you're wondering what it is , it's something like a holiday band where you get to enjoy playing music with other people from other schools & after only 4 days of rehearsals , you get to perform at the Esplanade Concert Hall (: 

I actually went last year with my friends in the Junior Band (pic below) 

It was really really fun and I got to play music with my friends without the stress of my conductor in school (no offence ... not) I also made a lot of new friends (: and the guest conductor was also really funny and our favourite piece last year was probably the POP MEDLEY [ which included piece such as forget you , smoke on water etc.] 

Anyways , this year , my friends and I had the opportunity to join this again and most of us passed the audition . However , this year , I got into Intermedaite Band instead of Junior Band . The pieces were extremely difficult and I honestly had a hard time learning them . 

One big problem I had was that I didn't know ANYONE in my section when I was for there and if you know me , I don't think I'm very good at making friends :P so I'm pretty awkward . Although it was hard for me , I managed to make friends with the rest of the 12 amazing people I had in my section . There're 12 of the funniest , interesting people I've met (:

We got the opportunity to play 3 amazing pieces with the standard of difficulty so high I honestly almost died when I saw the score . 

- The Centurion 

- Bulgarian Dances 

- Sang ! 

The running notes for the woodwinds in "Bulgarian Dances" were so fast , one of out sectional tutors had to use money to make us play 😂 (just kidding , wait no , really) 

Sang! Was a piece where we actually had to sing almost half of the piece . When you look at the score for the first time , you will actually freak out like most of us do , and will totally give up . It's a jazz piece so if you learn music , there's ALOT of semi quavers and quavers . Although it was hard , it was really fun playing it as it was funny watching out conductor try to pronounce the words so that he could teach us how to sing it

On the concert day , 18th December 2014 , we were the band to open the concert and honestly speaking , although it wasn't as fun as last year in junior band , I had a really fun time playing with everyone else and learnt a lot of new things . The chaperones were also really nice and funny and if they did not play the ice breaker games with us on the 1st day , I really don't know how awkward it will be in the next few days of rehearsals . 

All in all , it was an awesome experience and maybe next year , I might join again (:  3rd Wind Youth Band Festival !
